Nyro Winkleheart

Have you ever wondered who turned the colours to gold in Autumn? Who paints the sky orange and purple and turquoise when the sun goes down? Introducing Nyro Winkleheart, the little Elfin Sprite with enormous magic, a kind heart and only peace on his mind.

This two day workshop has been constructed with the beginner in mind, but has enough new skills for the more experienced doll maker. We begin with the body, learning how to make hands with fingers - and all the tricks in turning those! A well conceived approach to face painting is covered - the mystery revealed! In this class we will be making the clothing, shoes and hat and learning about some embellishing techniques, such as free machining and some use of textile inks.
